Inclusive practice and social adaptation of youth

The company “Monomakh” joined a social initiative in Brovary in partnership with the Center for Social and Labor Adaptation “Perspektyva 21.3”.

The project is aimed at training, socialization, and preparing young people with intellectual developmental disabilities for employment through practical activities.

Training at the Center is built on a model close to real production: students perform sequential tasks, work according to algorithms, and are guided by mentors. At the same time, basic life skills are developed: planning, communication, and distribution of responsibilities.

As part of the cooperation, the company “Monomakh” provided students with the opportunity to practice tea packaging. This combines the development of sensory skills and discipline with a sense of real results, which is a key factor of motivation.

According to Dmytro Shcherbyna, Head of the Board of the charitable organization “Perspektyva 21.3”, students strive to be part of society and to feel the value of their work: “They truly want to be useful, want to be part of this society, and to rejoice together with us that their work brings value.”

The collaboration with business began at the initiative of the company itself. Co-founder of PJSC “Monomakh” Taras Barabash proposed giving students the opportunity to gain practical experience in the workshop. Shcherbyna notes that the Center sees this not only as a learning process, but also as a pathway to future employment for young people.

Ahead of the Easter holidays, the “Monomakh” team visited the Center with creative gifts. At “Perspektyva 21.3”, they note that such cooperation with business helps create an inclusive environment and opens up real employment opportunities for young people.
