The main goal of the lawsuit to refute false information is to protect the business from economic damage caused by the distortion of information in the media about Monomakh’s activities, according to the company’s press service.

“We are determined to defend our reputation in court. The Ukrainian state should stand with those who create jobs, support Ukraine’s Victory, and operate transparently,” the company’s statement says.

The tea producer emphasizes that it does not cooperate with Russia or Belarus, has no official representatives, affiliated companies, or marketplace partners in these countries, and has conducted no operations there since February 24, 2022.

“We are confident that the court will properly assess the media information attack, which shows signs of manipulating public opinion. We urge journalists to adhere to professional standards, verify information, send direct inquiries to the company, and not spread unconfirmed data,” the statement adds.

Currently, Monomakh is operating as usual, fulfilling all its obligations to employees, partners, and the state of Ukraine.
